WATCH OUT WORLD!

Anyone who knows me knows of my deep-rooted fear of perpetual motion. I detest roller coasters. I despise ice-skating and rollerblading. I’ve neither skied, nor snowboarded. I can barely handle a bike.

So when you hear that I am about to get on a motorcycle for autism, you know that I mean business.

I’m riding a motorcycle to support the Autism Science Foundation’s AML Bikers for Charity, a June 4th motorcycle ride from Rockville Center to Montauk Lighthouse. Google Maps that. IT IS FAR!

Why am I doing this?

Autism is a disorder that has shaped my life in so many ways, both good and bad, yet we know so little about it. Science, and funding science, is the only way to answer the unanswerable questions that plague so many in the autism community.

I firmly believe in the Autism Science Foundation and its mission, and I know that the ASF funds premier, high-impact autism research that desperately needs to be done.

Here’s how to support me:

Please sponsor me as a rider in the AML Bikers for Charity by clicking on this link and then clicking the "donate" button underneath the thermometer. As little as $5 could go a long way. Every dollar counts.

Thank you for your support!

The ride will start in Rockville Centre, NY and wind along the coast of Long Island to the Montauk Lighthouse, a national historic landmark. The 100 mile ride will raise awareness and donations for the Autism Science Foundation (ASF) which funds critically-needed research to discover the causes of autism and to develop new, better treatments for kids, teens and adults with autism spectrum disorders.

The Autism Science Foundation (ASF) which is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Its mission is to support autism research by providing funding to scientists and organizations conducting autism research.
